Daddy's Birthday

For Daddy's birthday, we went to the Arboretum. They have a huge childrens garden, which Maebh thoroughly enjoyed.

We left the childrens garden to get lunch and change Maebh's outfit (it was warmer than we expected). After lunch, there were a few things that Mommy & Daddy wanted to see, like the Maze garden. In the middle of the garden, they have an observation deck. Maebh's favorite part of the Maze garden was walking up and down the staircase to the observation deck.

When we said that we needed to leave the observation area and find out way out of the maze so we could go to one more place and then back to the childrens garden, Maebh gave us her ""What you talking bout Willis?" look:



Maebh thinks Mommy takes too many pictures of her. If only Mommy were a better photographer (or Maebh slowed down for two minutes), there might be less of a need for snapping so many pictures.

Here, after the second picture I took of Maebh, we already got the "will you stop taking my picture already, Mom?" look

Finally, near the end of the trip, Maebh seemed to decide it would be ok for me to take her picture once. Only once...

Maebh and Daddy went back to the childrens garden after that and Mommy went to cool off in the visitor's center. We had a good time and will probably go back when it's a little cooler outside.
